Hotel Tirrenia - Sorrent

Das Hotel macht eigenen etwas nostalgischen Eindruck, z. B. Kellner im Hellen Anzug beim Frühstück, sehr viel Marmor überall. Schön ist die Aussicht von der Dachterrasse und der Whirlpool zum Abkühlen.

Uns hat nicht gefallen, dass das Hotel keinen Parkplatz bietet und man auf einen Parkplatz vom Hotel verwiesen wurde, der 20€ die Nacht kostete. Außerdem war das Hotel sehr dreckig, im Bad und im Bett waren Haare fremder Menschen zu finden. Richtige Handtücher gab es dort nicht, das waren eher Tischdecken. Für eine Nacht war es aber auszuhalten. Weiter empfehlen können wir es daher leider nicht.

Pool auf dem Dach, Super Frühstück, wunderschöne Aussicht

Das hübsche Zentrum ist fußläufig schnell erreichbar durch die Lage an der Hauptverkehrsstraße (durch eine gute Schallisolierung hat uns das im 4. Stock nicht gestört) Nach den Tagesausflügen lädt ein Jacuzzi auf dem Dach mit tollem Ausblick auf das Meer zum Entspannen ein.

Da es keine kostenfreie Parkplätze gibt, empfiehlt das Hotel einen bewachten Privatparkplatz, der in der Hochsaison tatsächlich 20 Euro/Tag kostet. Das dort arbeitende Personal ist an Unfreundlichkeit nicht zu übertreffen! Das Hotel ist sicher keine schlechte Unterkunft, aber für den Preis, was zur Hochsaison verlangt wird, kann man eine Renovierung erwarten, da alles etwas in die Jahre gekommen ist.

Frühstück und Lage des Hotels war sehr gut.

The location of the hotel was excellent, a short walk to the shops and beach. The room was big and bright and clean. We had a small balcony with a sea view.

The breakfast was poor, but there is a really nice fruit shop and deli across the road from the hotel which is a better option. It would be better to have a pool in your hotel in August as the beaches are over crowed.

The staff without exception were friendly and helpful

If you get a room on the street side of the hotel you may find it very noisy. However I'd still stay as everything else makes up for it

The Hotel is located at the end of the main street. It is about a 15 minute walk from the train station. It is also very close to the city center and port. The room was roomy-- but the bathroom is very small. It does have a decent view if you are on the 3rd or 4th floor. Breakfast was very generous-- and the staff were very friendly. Good location and good price.

Room was of average appearance, but having a little balcony was nice.

Unreliable wifi in room. Would work for half an hour, then shut down. Would come back on later. Management needs to fix or upgrade service

Rent mopeds right across the street and go from town to town!

Location was great. Short walk to anything you want to see in Sorrento.

The hotel is about 1.3kms from the circumvesuviana station but only a few hundred metres from the centre of Sorrento - excellent location. Our double room was a good size with a small balcony. Breakfasts were good and the rooftop spa was fantastic with a great view over the ocean.

The walls are a bit thin which means you can hear people in the corridor and adjoining rooms although it wasn't a real problem.

The sun terrace is small and a bit shabby. Wouldn't personally use the jacuzzi, as it didn't look too clean. Bar is only open on ground or 4th floor at any time - so no bar service during the day on 4th/sun terrace, and no bar service on ground floor at night. Breakfast was nondescript - self service, but no hot options.
